The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region 7 requires three (3) gas detectors that are Brand Name or Technically Equal to the Honeywell SPM Flex Gas Detector. Detectors must be able to detect toxic gases at ultra-sensitive levels. They must be a dual-purpose unit capable of both stationary monitoring and portable leak detection for high-accuracy gas analysis in harsh industrial and field environments. Method. The US EPA Region 7 Acquisition Office will solicit quotations directly from suppliers in accordance with the Revolutionary Federal Acquisition Regulation Overhaul (RFO) Part 12.201-1(c)(2). Note: All detectors are subject to RFO Part 25 to include RFO 52.225-1, Buy American—Supplies and RFO 52.225-2, Buy American Certificate.
