Cartwin Pro Licenses and Support

The Bureau of ATF intends to negotiate a sole source award with Manthei-Mess-Systeme of Germany for the purchase of one CartwinPro 4 license for installation on 26 computers. Cart-Win PRO is a verified and validated forensic tool by the U.S. Department of Commerce, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) listed under the Forensic Database Firearms and Tool marks section. Manthei-Mess-Systeme is the sole provider of CartwinPro 4 licenses and upgrades worldwide, and there are no U.S. based resellers. CartwinPro 4 uses proprietary search algorithms for the operation of the software. The resulting search results are based on using proprietary methods of operation and are unique to CartwinPro 4.
