7/17/2026 - Update This notice is made pursuant to FAR 5.101: NASA/KSC plans to issue a request for proposal (RFP) for the following commercial products or commercial services: protective services (refer to the “Attachments/Links” section for more information). The type of set-aside and NAICS code is identified in the “Classification” section. The size standard is $29.0 million. The anticipated release date of the RFP and anticipated proposal due date is specified in the April 13, 2026, Update. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which must be considered by the agency. NASA Clause 1852.215-84, Ombudsman, is applicable. The updated portfolio has been released as a controlled attachment. 6/25/2026 - Update The purpose of this notice is to post the Virtual Presolictiation Conference presentation charts. 6/11/2026 - Update The purpose of this notice is to advise of the following industry engagement opportunities for the NPSC-SR II acquisition: Virtual Presolicitation Conference: June 24, 2026 One-on-one Meetings with Potential Prime Offerors: Week of June 29, 2026 Virtual Presolicitation Conference: The NPSC-SR II source evaluation team will host a virtual presolicitation conference on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. ET. The virtual presolicitation conference is open to all interested parties. The purpose of the conference is to provide an overview of NPSC-SR II requirements and the draft request for proposal (DRFP) to improve understanding and increase efficiency in proposal preparation. The overview will be followed by a question and answer session. Individuals interested in attending the virtual presolicitation conference are requested to contact the Contracting Officer, Melissa Boughton, at ksc-npsc-sr-ii@mail.nasa.gov not later than 12 p.m. ET on June 22, 2026, identifying the following for each attendee: first and last name, position or title (to include the company’s respective contract manager or administrator), and company name. A Microsoft Teams link and a dial-in number will be provided prior to the conference. Briefing charts will be posted to https://sam.gov/ following the conference.
