7/17/2026 - Update This notice is made pursuant to FAR 5.101: NASA/KSC plans to issue a request for proposal (RFP) for the following commercial products or commercial services: fire services (refer to the “Attachments/Links” section for more information). The type of set-aside and NAICS code is identified in the “Classification” section. The size standard is $16.5 million. The anticipated release date of the RFP and anticipated proposal due date is specified in the May 7, 2026, Update. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which must be considered by the agency. NASA Clause 1852.215-84, Ombudsman, is applicable. The updated portfolio has been released as a controlled attachment. 6/25/2026 - Update The purpose of this notice is to post the Virtual Presolictiation Conference presentation charts. 6/11/2026 - Update The purpose of this notice is to advise of the following industry engagement opportunities for the NFSC II acquisition: Virtual Presolicitation Conference: June 23, 2026 One-on-one Meetings with Potential Prime Offerors: July 6-7, 2026 Virtual Presolicitation Conference: The NFSC II source evaluation team will host a virtual presolicitation conference on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. ET. The virtual presolicitation conference is open to all interested parties. The purpose of the conference is to provide an overview of NFSC II requirements and the draft request for proposal (DRFP) to improve understanding and increase efficiency in proposal preparation. The overview will be followed by a question and answer session. Individuals interested in attending the virtual presolicitation conference are requested to contact the Contracting Officer, Melissa Boughton, at ksc-nfsc-ii@mail.nasa.gov not later than 12 p.m. ET on June 22, 2026, identifying the following for each attendee: first and last name, position or title (to include the company’s respective contract manager or administrator), and company name. A Microsoft Teams link and a dial-in number will be provided prior to the conference. Briefing charts will be posted to https://sam.gov/ following the conference.
