Project Title: Replacement of Ceiling Kitchen Area, Building 1, Basement Nutrition Food Service Kitchen, Project Number: 570-26-228,Location: VA Central California Health Care System (VACCHCS), located at 2615 E. Clinton Avenue, Fresno, CA 93703 Description: The Department of Veterans Affairs, VACCHCS Fresno Facilities Maintenance Service, requires a firm fixed price construction effort to replace the Nutrition food Services ceiling in Building 1, Basement(approx. 4,000 Sq. ft), where the existing bent and rusted multi-layer ceiling must be demolished and replaced with a new ceiling grid and FDA-compliant kitchen tiles in accordance with the SOW, specifications, RFI responses, and contract drawings. The contractor will furnish all materials, labor, phased work execution, and a qualified lead technician to oversee demolition, installation, and testing while coordinating around kitchen operations, completing core-area work off-hours and common-area work during the day, and ensuring full compliance with VA, federal, state, and local environmental and occupational safety requirements, including adherence to life-safety codes, OSHA practices, and all other safe-work provisions and laws.
