The General Services Office (GSO) at the U.S. Embassy in Bogotá has a requirement for non-armored 15-19 pax VANs; we invite you to read carefully the following minimum requirements: General Requirement: Three (3) 15-19 pax VANs meeting the following criteria, please ensure the vehicles align with the specified criteria. Models from American manufacturers or those built to meet U.S. specifications are highly preferred. Required Specifications: Engine: • Compliance with Colombian Regulatory Standards. • Turbo Diesel, Euro VI • From 1,800 to 2,400 cc. • From 120HP to 200 HP. • Torque: From 300 to 400 Nm @ RPM Transmission: • Manual with at least 6 gears. • 4x2 Rear traction. Brake system: • ABS • EBV • Disk pads on front • Disk Pads on back Dimensions: • At least Wheelbase 4,325 mm • At least Total length 7,367 mm • At least Cargo area length 4,751 mm • At least Cargo area volume 15.5 m³ Cabin: Compliance with Colombian Regulatory Standards: compliance with local regulations required by the ministry of transport (resolution 3753 of 2015 – resolution 4200 of 2016 – annex 8 to un regulation 107 – circular of December 14, 2016 – Colombian technical standard NTC 5206 – resolution 7126 of 1995 and resolution 7171 of 2002) -regulation 107-regulation 80 (R-80) • 14-19 retractable seats in black industrial heavy use fabric. No Vinyl, no leather. • Aluminum rail profile system and bodywork brackets for seat mounting + heavy-duty vinyl flooring + front sub-flooring double-level. • Luggage compartment + storage drawer + tie-down rings. • Certified 3-point retractable seat belts for all seats. • Roof and floor led light system. • Roof emergency exit hatch. • Basic FM/AM radio with auxiliary input. No touch screen is necessary. Only required for front seats, no need for rear speakers. • Reversing camera - reversing sensor audible reverse alarm. Resolution: 700 TV Lines (TVL) or 720p HD minimum, Viewing Angle: 120° to 150° Horizontal, Sensor Quantity: 4 Flush-Mount Sensors, Detection Frequency: 40 kHz, Detection Range: 0.3 meters to 2.0 meters (approx. 1 foot to 6.5 feet) Alert Mechanism: Audible (Piezo buzzer ? 80 dB) + Visual Distance Display. • Air conditioning. • No electrical sliding door system is required. Warranty terms: This is a requirement for brand new vehicles and components with five (5) Year warranty. Post sales service must be done in the city of Bogotá by authorized brand repair shops. The warranty requirement is requested for the entire vehicle and its components such as mechanical components, van, platform, etc. Delivery Location: Vehicles must be delivered in Bogotá. The exact address will be disclosed to the winner party. Delivery must be scheduled and coordinated with POCs at least 24 hours in advance of the planned delivery date. The delivery time of the equipment, accessories and training package should be completed/delivered withing 90 days after acceptance of the referenced purchase order. For U.S. and foreign vendors: You may send a proposal in $USD. INCOTERMS: DDP at the US Embassy in Bogotá. The U.S. Embassy Bogotá will NOT emit a tax exemption certification for Colombian taxes DELIVERY TERMS: DDP. “Delivered Duty Paid” the seller delivers the goods when the goods are placed at the disposal of the buyer, cleared for import on the arriving means of transport, and ready for unloading at the named place of delivery. The seller bears all the costs and risks involved in bringing the goods to the place of destination, has an obligation to clear the goods not only for export but also for import, to pay any duty for both export and import, and to carry out all customs formalities.
