Appalachian Ranger District Office and Work Center Janitorial Services

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 12444126Q0035 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Appalachian Ranger District Janitorial Services. Intent of this Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for Janitorial Services to be performed for the USDA Forest Service, Pisgah National Forest, Appalachian Ranger District. The Period of Performance on the BPA will consist of base period and four 12-months ordering periods. The BPA does not obligate funds; the Government is obligated only to the extent of authorized purchases actually made under the BPA. There will be five (5) individual (annual) ordering periods which will obligate funds on BPA Call orders. Either party (Government or Awardee) may terminate this agreement at any time. A 30-day notice must be provided in writing to terminate this agreement. This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses by reference. The small business size standard is $22M This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency. Historical Data (for informational purposes only): The previous contract number is 12444121D0015 and Linda Hensley is the incumbent. We have awarded five task orders over the last five years for a total of $73,120.50. Formal site visit is scheduled, however not mandatory – see Attachment 7 - Site Visit.: Tuesday, July 28 at 0900. Please note that no informal visits are authorized and any inquiries must be made with Contract Specialist on this solicitation.
