Background & Strategic Vision Vandenberg Space Force Base (VSFB) is undergoing a fundamental shift in operations, transitioning into a high-capacity spaceport. To support a dramatic and sustained surge in national security and commercial launch cadence, Space Launch Delta (SLD) 30 Spaceport of the Future (SOTF) is spearheading an unparalleled, large-scale infrastructure recapitalization effort. This represents a massive, multi-phase investment portfolio aimed at completely overhauling base infrastructure to eliminate operational bottlenecks and enable "launch on demand" capabilities. 3. Purpose Statement The purpose of this Industry Day is to clearly communicate the scale of this infrastructure modernization effort and to elicit critical requirements from mission partners to ensure we are strategically structuring these massive capital projects. The event will serve as a high-level vision summit to facilitate dialogue between government and industry partners regarding opportunities, challenges, and emerging capabilities relevant to spaceport development. 3. Intended Audience Because of the scale of these upcoming infrastructure projects, the Government highly encourages participation from executive-level decision-makers, site leads, and organizations with capabilities relevant to: Large-scale infrastructure modernization Design, engineering and/or construction services, utilities, power grid expansion and energy resilience Environmental planning and state regulators Transportation and logistics Spaceport operations Launch support Commodity providers Venture capital and public-private partnership entities 5. Topics Topics may include: An overview of SLD 30's core mission to provide access to space, and the projected growth in commercial and national security launch cadence Identifying current base-wide bottlenecks and detailing the massive future infrastructure requirements needed to resolve them Discussing methods of streamlining contract procurement timelines and accelerating delivery schedules for critical infrastructure Discussing authorized public-private collaboration models, innovative leasing authorities, and shared-use infrastructure strategies Panel discussion featuring SLD 30 Leadership, SOTF, strategic planning, and civil engineering (CE) on how commercial partners and the base will coordinate during the high tempo launch surge An open Q&A allowing industry partners to engage directly with SLD 30 leadership and subject matter experts to clarify requirements, discuss infrastructure plans, and address specific challenges Structured, individual sessions between industry partners and base leadership to capture market capabilities and immediate requirements 6. Security / Access Requirements This event will be conducted at Vandenberg Space Force Base. Attendees may be required to provide information necessary for installation access.
