DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT This is a new design-build construction requirement for an independent HVAC system for the 97th IS at Offutt AFB, Nebraska. This acquisition is set aside for a small business concern under NAICS 238220, Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses by reference. The required CUI consists of restricted Air Force base as-built drawings, which necessitates the retention of the Level 2 certification (Self-Assesment) requirement to safeguard DoD infrastructure data. 1. Categories of CUI Provided and Generated Contractor Inquiry: What specific categories of CUI will be provided to or generated by the contractor during contract performance? Government Clarification: The specific CUI provided to the contractor will consist of as-built drawings and structural schematics for Offutt Air Force base. The contractor must have access to these controlled technical documents to accurately survey, design, and construct the new HVAC system. Furthermore, any derivative engineering plans, updated schematics, or construction deliverables generated by the contractor that incorporate or expose data from the original as-builts must also be categorized, marked, and protected as CUI (specifically, Controlled Technical Information / Critical Infrastructure). 2.
